"I was walking down Fifth Avenue today, and I found a wallet. I was going to keep it, rather than return it, but I thought: Well, if I lost $150, how would I feel? And I realized I would want to be taught a lesson." Emo Philips

When I read this, it made me wonder whatever happened to Emo Philips. And that led to me learning what paraprosdokians and garden path sentences are.

I appreciate how unintentionally educational your blog is. Although I suspect I wouldn't have learned a thing if I would have looked up Jane Austen.
